Post-doctoral position for New Zealand Attitudes and Values Study, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand

We invite applications for a three year fixed-term position (0.8 FTE) for a post-doctoral research fellow based in the Religious Studies Programme. The fellow will contribute to a new longitudinal study of religion, a Marsden-funded project supervised by Dr Joseph Bulbulia that is part of the New Zealand Attitudes and Values Study (NZAVS). The post-doctoral fellow is expected to conduct research through engagement with underrepresented communities across New Zealand, to maintain interpersonal relationships within the NZAVS, to organise biannual workshops for humanities scholars and social scientists for the NZAVS, to mentor undergraduates and graduate students involved with this research, and to co-author publications with NZAVS researchers. The candidate should have a PhD in Anthropology, Evolutionary Biology, History, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
