These three papers tackle moral aspects of identity and political discourse.  The first paper considers how the morality of war and trauma impacts upon the identity of a nation.  The second examines the ideological dilemmas of morality experienced by former informants of a nation.  The final paper studies the legitimation of nationalistic political organizations in upholding ethnic representations of legitimate nationhood.
