Registration is now open for the 2012 Mentoring Tea, which will be held during the ISPP annual meeting in Chicago on Saturday July 7th at 5pm. All junior scholars are invited to sign up as mentees. Each mentor will be paired with up to three mentees, on a first-come-first-serve basis!

The Berlin Summer School in Social Sciences aims at promoting young researchers by strengthening their methodological understanding
in linking theory and empirical research. The summer school will take place July 15-27, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Applications can be submitted until March 31, 2012.
Applications are now considered for the second ISPP Summer Academy which will be held in Chicago, USA on July 3-5 2012. The program contains five substantive courses by prominent scholars such as Susan Condor (Lancaster University), Doris Graber (University of Illinois, Chicago), Jack Levy (Rutgers University), Victor Ottati (Loyola University Chicago) Felicia Pratto (University of Connecticut), Leonie Huddy and Stanley Feldman (Stony Brook University).

A meeting on "Power, Politics, and Paranoia: Why People are Suspicious about Their Leaders" will take place in "Felix Meritis", directly in the historical centre of Amsterdam on July 13-14 2012. Scholars who are interested in presenting at this meeting should submit an abstract (max. 200 words) before 16 March 2012.
Next summer (30.July-3.August, 2012) Fathali M. Moghaddam will give a course on terrorism entitled: "Understanding Terrorism and Security in Global Context: Psychological Roots, Consequences, and Interventions"
