Workshop: The Neural Basis of Political Behavior. Chair John T. Jost. Siena, Italy. May 3-6, 2017

The Workshop will focus on cognitive aspects of stereotyping, prejudice, and intergroup relations; the occurrence of partisan bias and motivated political cognition; the nature of left-right differences in political orientation (or ideology); and impression formation, candidate perception, voting behavior, and collective action. The Faculty are world-renowned experts in these and related areas of brain research and will cut across multiple areas of this emerging field.
