Annual Scientific Meeting:
Our 2008 Annual Meeting will be held at
Sciences Po in Paris, France
(27 rue Saint Guillaume)
July 9 to July 12,
2008

“Building Bridges: Political Psychology and Other
Disciplines, Political Psychology and the World”
CURRENCY:
One euro is divided into 100 cents or centimes. Coins of 1, 2
and 5 centimes are copper-colored; coins of 10, 20 and
50 centimes are gold-colored; 1 and 2 euro coins are
gold-and-silver colored.
Euro notes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100,
200 and 500. It is often difficult to get change for a
Euro500.00 note.
Plastic will save you the most hassles. ATMs are abundant
and accessible if you need cash, but so are the places that
take major credit cards. Two or more cards is handy and a
few travelers checks as a back-up are also not a bad idea.
Travelers checks can be cashed at banks and exchange
offices, and usually attract a slightly higher exchange rate
than cash.

CASH:
It is a good idea to exchange a small amount of cash at your local bank
before you travel there. For example, exchange just enough for a cab ride. When you
get there, you may want to draw money out from an ATM or use your credit card,
rather than exchanging money at the bureau de change, as they will likely charge a
high fee. (For more information:
